(12) Spode Copeland 6 1/8" Bread Plates Cobalt "Greek Key" Box Chain Gold Rim

A SET of (12) ca 1940
Spode Copeland China 6 1/8" bread plates from with an interesting Greek-Key-like boxed chain cobalt trim on a wide gold rim with dots. This is the same pattern (in reverse) as Spode Golden Bracelet. Surrounded by gold, the cobalt Hs read more black to the naked eye, but show their true color under flash. There is light crazing on two plates, show in detail with the pattern mark. They are in otherwise excellent condition with strong gilding. They're fresh from a fine estate where I picked up a lot of early 20th century wares.
