    ITEM: HOWE US POSTAL SCALE 1932, bottom has the number 17255. Cast iron and brass. It is a four pound maximum scale graduated in ounces and was made in Rutland, VERMONT. It still has its unbroken lead seal on top cover (I'm guessing it is for calibration reliability.) Wonderful antique for use or display!
    MEASUREMENTS: 19 1/2" long base is 6" wide but the tray is 8" wide.
    CONDITION: very minor surface rust which can be removed if desired.
