1940 Golden Gate Exposition GGIE or NYWF 11x12 WOOD & METAL SAILING SHIP
This auction is for a very nice souvenir wood & metal sailing ship from the 1940 World’s Fair.  There is engraving on the side of the ship that reads  MARY  AND FANNY  1940  WORLD’S FAIR but it does not specify whether it is the New York World’s Fair or the Golden Gate International Exposition in San Francisco, CA.  I have it listed under San Francisco because the style of ship fits in with the Treasure Island theme. The ship has 3-D metal masts and sails.  The maximum dimensions are approximately 12 ½” long x 11 ⅛” high x 2” wide.  The condition is Fine with light wear, a few pea-size rust spots on the sails, humidity spotting, and loose thread rigging.  Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.  See my other auctions - I will combine multiple purchases to save you postage.
