Fresh from a Queens New York estate, we gave a great pleasure to offer you this wonderful Antique English George III Tea Caddy. Made of beautiful rosewood in casket form, adorned with superb quality bronze / brass mounts of Lion Heads on far ends, perfectly matching the four high quality big-cat paw feet, which the box stands on. Great example of English 19th century master craftsmanship! When opened, it reveals a pair of beautiful lidded tin containers, flanking the round open center compartment. Condition i sgood, showing light age / use wear for item 125+ years of age, lock not functioning (please see photos). Size is great to fit anywhere at " wide, " deep, and " tall. This is a classic decoration all great settings must have, traditional or modern, great display on any coffee table or sideboard, a phenomenal addition to any collection!
