Antique Lusterware Portrait Mug

Description

This is a lovely antique lusterware mug that is unmarked by the manufacturer.
It measures approximately 3 7/8” in height and 4 ¼” in width, including the handle.
A beautiful woman is featured on the front panel of the mug and brilliant gold luster gilding embellishes the exterior and the entire interior.
A pretty purple/pink luster finish and a dainty handle further enhance this mug.
Handwritten numerals and initials, “886/12382/197 gf”, are written in red script on the base along with an incised numeral “886”.
Despite some manufacturing flaws, wear to the luster and painted finish, and a few scuffs and scratches this antique portrait mug is in good condition.
Note:
It does have what appears to be a flaw on the purple part of the woman’s dress but I believe that the embossed swirl mark just has paint wear.
There is no chip or rough edges.
