    Description

    D'Addario Kaplan double bass string set (4) for 3/4 double (upright) bass. These are an excellent set of orchestral strings, great for bowing. I used these for several months on my bass before switching to the much more expensive Spiracore/Evah Parazzi combination. The Kaplans are great for bowing, but not so great for pizz. I need a string that will do both very well.
    These strings speak easily and have that dark, rich orchestral sound. They're pretty easy to play and get good sound even for a second-year player like me.
