Lot of 2 Vintage Pure Rock Club Soda Carrying Cartons, 1940s, never used!. Condition is Used.
Just in time for the holidays!
This is new/old stock. I went to an auction in Akron (Ohio) years ago. A convenience store was closing down and I bought these 2 carrying cartons. They were stuffed in the back storage area – never used, never assembled, They were designed to hold 6 five-cent bottles of “Pure Rock Sparkling Club Soda” – “No finer water in any bottle at any price,” the carton boasts. The logo of the company was a nude woman about to shower in “America’s Purest Spring Water.” Customers were to return the carton (assembled) to get a deposit on the glass bottles. Remember gathering glass bottle to return for the deposit? My sister and I used to do that.
This is what you are getting – two new, old stock cartons. Each measures 15 by 8-1/4.
Frame one, assemble the other and use it as a display! Or give away one for the holidays and keep the other for yourself!
