Description

For bid is an original May 6, 1939 rodeo / round-up name identification badge from the Golden Gate International Exposition on Treasure Island between San Francisco and Oakland on the SF Bay!  This is an orange-colored pass with a sombrero at the center.  It was owned by a woman named Nila P? (I can't make out the last name).  Bottom of the sombrero says "See Our Exposition Round-Up."  It was a sort of rodeo held over several days at the World's Fair.  This was a badge for one of those days.  It may have been sponsored by Levi Straus denim jeans company.
Top of hat says "Hi Pard.  I'm ___" with owner's name.  She was from Los Gatos in Santa Clara County, California.  Back has the following printed on it:  "This is your Identification Badge detach, String and Wer during the day."  I suppose Nila was a performer that day...  The famous rodeo cowboy "Montie Montana" performed at this "Round-Up" in May 1939.
Small orange pass with blue string.
