Condition:
Clock face shows as clean with no finish deterioration, crisp white hash marks & VDO/KIENZLE scripts over unblemished black face. VERY minor evidence of age & use as intended including VERY FINE micro scratches. Part # 107 542 00 11 and "Made in Germany" are also clean & crisp in upper 12 o'clock position on face. Hands show some fading, knob is intact, secure, moves the hands fore and aft if somewhat stiffly. Perspex is free of evident scratches, chips, nicks, pitting or fogging both inside & out, glass bezel & chrome accent trim quite good. Date code appears to be 11/72, consistent with the early SLC it was removed from. Overall a cosmetically nice, vintage early M-Benz clock.
