PEPSI COLA SANTA TRAILER TRUCK IN BOX FRICTION WORKS 1950s JAPAN THE HOLY GRAIL. Here is one of those toys that you may never see in your lifetime. It is the all tin Pepsi Cola Santa Trailer Truck in the box with 4 cases of Pepsi !!!
1950s, maybe very early 60's. Extremely rare friction tractor and trailer marked "KS Made in Japan". Includes adjustable Pepsi billboard and a great picture of Santa on the back drinking a Pepsi it says "Sign of Good Taste Anytime". Light wear here and there with some age spidering, friction works. Two very small dings on top of trailer. Back wheels on cab are loose but, connected. Comes with 4 impossible to find plastic bottle cases. Has the trailer standing wheels. Very rare original box has some wear and tear and repair. Some tape in a couple corners. Bottom very nice, has a part label on one end . Has an insert that protects the cab from the trailer, not so sure if it is original. 12.5 inches total. One of the hardest Pepsi toys or items you can find. One sold at Morphy's auction in 2009 for 50.00 plus 20% BP + tax/shipping etc. Over 5 grand total. Estimate was 00-00 11 years ago. Mine doesn't have side mirrors but, either does the one sold at Morphy's. They may have decided to not add them after the fact since the residual paint is still over the holes somewhat.
