RARE ID’d 1939 Golden Gate Exposition EMPLOYEE AUTOGRAPH BOOK 180+ Signed GGIE
This auction is for a very rare autograph book that originally belonged to Anne Pennington Schmidt, an employee at the Fuller Brush Exhibit at the 1939 Golden Gate Exposition in San Francisco.  The autograph book has diecut wooden covers in the outline shape of California.  The covers have maximum dimensions 12"x17" and are decorated with scenes illustrating features of each particular area of CA.  The album contains over 180 autographs of GGIE employees (many identify where they worked). Most of the autographs have a message, and several include a drawing or doodles.
The last page also includes the signature of the Mayor of San Francisco, Angelo J. Rossi.
