SPODE- Copeland Mark #235**9" LUNCH PLATE**D4762 Pattern*GILDING-Rose Garlands

Description

This is a charming 9 inch LUNCH PLATE from SPODE.
From Robert Copeland's SPODE & COPELAND MARKS  --pages 68 & 121 we know that it has Mark #235 that was used from 1859-1890, and that the Pattern number was used from 1866 on. Hence this plate can be dated from 1866-1890.
The plate is in perfect condition. The gold marks around the rim are raised by Heavy gilding of Liquid Gold and it is a porcelain piece.
I do not know the name of the pattern but it does have a popular Victorian Colorway. If you know this pattern name I would love to hear from you.
