    Description

    Unique Vintage FRIGID METER 1930 by Phila Thermometer Co . From an estate auction and sold in as found condition, see photos. Very nice original pedestal meter about 3.5" in height with a round base with a diameter of 2 3/16". Glass insert face is about 3" in diameter and is mounted on a slant. Face ring is removable and does have a cut in rim which we think was manufactured in to make it bendable and removable. Copyright is marked 1930 on round cardboard face. Nice colors and thermometer appears to be functional but we are selling as a display piece and not a functioning scientific instrument because of age. Great display piece.
