Greetings! This week I am pleased to offer a marvelous selection of German made, beautiful vintage original 1950s-1960s Schuco Piccolo, Wiking, Dux, and Rex Juwel die cast cars. Many rare variations and hard to find models! These manufacturers are known for their colorful and beautiful paint finishes and innovative features. I have enjoyed these models in my personal collection for years, and now they are available to add to yours! They represent well the Golden Age of diecast toy cars from the late 1950s to mid 1960s and are similar to Matchbox and Husky/Corgi Junior, but produced in far fewer numbers.

This auction is for the sought after and scarce vintage 1960s Schuco Piccolo (Germany) 725 Ford Hotrod in gorgeous mint original condition. Beautiful example with an original blue paint finish, metal grill and engine, silver trim, and little rubber tires on spun aluminum wheels. The Piccolo series was produced from 1957-1969 and included over 60 models. Each model was made to an exact 1:90 scale, and made of a solid heavy casting.  This one measures 1.5 inches long. Note the picture with the larger Schuco Ford Hot Rod that it was inspired by (listed separately, not included in this auction) The detailed and magnified photos are part of the description.
