Vintage Green 1950's U.S.Gauge Co Box Thermometer with Outside Copper Probe

Vintage US Gauge Co. Thermometer
This is a really nice piece from another garage here in Northern Maine!
It's a very nice 1950's Fahrenheit thermometer made by the US Gauge Co.  It is in
excellent condition overall, the plastic face plate has no cracks or breaks,
the housing has no dings or breaks, the paint has a few chips here and there,
the hard black rubber feet are all intact, the arrow and face are also in
excellent condition.  The front of the thermometer folds down by releasing
the side screws and the top screw, to reveal a 5' copper cable with an
attached probe. This way, you can put the probe somewhere away from the
unit, such as outside the closed window.  The thermometer appears to be
accurate, although i didn't test it to the specific degree.  The box
measures 3 3/4" wide, 4 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" deep. Please use the ZOOM
