Vintage World's Fair on San Franciso Bay Postcards-Postmarked 1939-Lot of 2

Description

This is a lot of 2 vintage Linen Lithograph Postcards postmarked from 1939.  They depict scenes from the California World's Fair on San Francisco Bay and the World's Fair on Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay.  Both have a copyright by Stanley A. Piltz and are Pictorial Wonderland Art Tone Series Postcards.  The first is labeled "Night View, San Francisco and Bay-World's Fair on Treasure Island, 104" at the top and "Golden Gate International Exposition in Foreground" on the bottom.  The second postcard is labeled "Rainbow Girl Atop Fountain of Life, Court of the Flowers, 184" on the top and "California World's Fair on San Francisco Bay" at the bottom.  They both have a 1939 postmark, a cancelled one cent stamp, have been addressed and a message written on the back from the sender.  Postcards are in good condition with some signs of use and age.  See photos for details.
